Staff Specialist Supply Chain Planning

Overview

We are looking for a motivated supply chain planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for both short-term and long-term capacity planning, ensuring optimal alignment between demand forecasts and manufacturing capabilities. You will work closely with Business Demand Planners and Supply Chain stakeholders to resolve capacity bottlenecks and implement process improvements for greater supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage short-term and long-term capacity and supply planning activities.
• Collaborate with Business Demand Planners to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and production capabilities.
• Work closely with Supply Chain Planners to identify and resolve capacity limitations or supply roadblocks.
• Develop strategies to manage production flexibility and implement capacity improvement plans.
• Track and report on capacity utilization metrics and progress of capacity increase initiatives.
• Coordinate and manage allocation decisions during capacity constraints to support business priorities.
• Actively participate in projects focused on optimizing supply chain processes, tools, and change management.
• Prepare clear and concise presentation materials for internal and cross-functional meetings, and present findings and proposals effectively to stakeholders.
