Production Engineer

Job description :

Production Process Management

• Monitor and manage daily production activities to ensure efficiency and output targets are met.
• Optimize manufacturing processes for products like LEDs, laser modules, photodetectors, or optical sensors.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and equipment issues. Quality Control & Assurance
• Work closely with QA / QC teams to ensure product quality meets specifications.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions. Equipment & Maintenance
• Support installation, calibration, and maintenance of specialized optoelectronic manufacturing equipment (e.g., die bonders, wire bonders, reflow ovens).
• Ensure proper functioning of cleanroom protocols and ESD-safe practices. Process Improvement
• Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies. Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain detailed records of production procedures, output data, and deviations.
• Assist in writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Cross-functional Support
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and quality departments on product development and process transfer.
• Support pilot runs and transition from prototype to mass production.
