Job descriptionManage patching activities and technology upgrades across OS, middleware, and databases. Execute server patching / upgrades on schedule and coordinate with team members for support when needed. Use Linux commands to perform system checks and analyze logs for errors. Guide application teams on pre- and post-patch validation steps. Run basic SQL queries to assess database performance after patching.
Requirements
- Good experience in infrastructure support.
- Good experience in Patching activity and Tech Upgrades (OS + MW + DB)
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with OS, middleware, and database patching / upgrade.
- Familiarity with log analysis and error resolution.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with application and support teams.
