Job descriptionMonitor and analyze social media performance data, such as follower growth, engagement rate, click-through rate, and conversion rate. Optimize content and operations strategies based on data feedback. Create monthly or quarterly reports to summarize performance and provide actionable recommendations for improvement. Maintain and operate local Malaysian communities, regularly engage with followers, handle comments and direct messages, and increase user engagement. Collect user feedback and keep up with market trends, assisting the product and customer service teams in addressing user issues to improve user satisfaction and loyalty. Collaborate closely with the brand, design, and sales teams to plan and execute online or offline brand marketing campaigns tailored to the Malaysian market. Promote partnerships with local influencers to increase brand awareness and influence in Malaysia. Stay updated on local social media trends, hot topics, and cultural habits in Malaysia and adjust operational strategies accordingly. Analyze competitors' social media performance in Malaysia and propose innovative operational ideas and marketing suggestions. Bachelor's degree or higher, with a preference for related majors (e.g., Marketing, Media, etc.). At least 2 years of social media operations experience, with preference for experience in the Malaysian market. Familiar with the operational rules of major Malaysian social platforms, a heavy user of IG, TikTok, and YouTube, with an understanding of local user preferences and cultural habits. Excellent and fluent communication and writing skills in English and Malay, capable of writing smooth, localized content. Proficiency in Chinese is a plus. Sensitivity to social media trends in Malaysia, with creativity and an innovative mindset, and a willingness to accept challenges. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with adaptability and strong execution abilities. Heavy Xiaohongshu user or experience in Xiaohongshu operations is preferred. Experience in successfully operating local Malaysian social media accounts or participation in large-scale local social media campaigns. Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.) to drive operations decisions through data. Experience in creating viral content or product incubation is preferred. Strong copywriting skills are an advantage. A good sense of aesthetics. Open to all genders, portfolio submissions are welcome.
Job Responsibilities :
Social Media Platform Management :
- Responsible for the daily content publishing and maintenance of the company's social media platforms in the Malaysian market (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Develop localized content strategies based on the brand's annual development plan and the user characteristics of the Malaysian market. Write, edit, and publish content (both text and videos) that attracts the target audience. Manage social media content calendars, plan topics, and execute content.
- Plan and execute online campaigns related to the Malaysian market to increase user engagement, enhance brand exposure, and build brand influence.
