Responsibilities
Lead and implement continuous improvement projects and Kaizen events across all departments to improve workflows.
Analyse and identify gaps in current manufacturing processes and recommend solutions that support operational excellence.
Strategize, plan, and execute Lean strategies that contribute to process optimisation, waste reduction, and performance improvement.
Collaborate with production teams to optimise CNC machining processes, tooling strategies and cycle times.
Drive initiatives to improve machine utilisation, reduce downtime and enhance overall equipment effectiveness.
Lead efforts with the Special Process and Quality teams to improve process capability, reduce variations in Special Process outputs and improve OEE.
Drive enhancements in the existing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and implement best practices to support the company’s growth.
Champion digitisation, automation, and innovation in manufacturing processes to elevate productivity and competitiveness.
Ensure all improvement projects are aligned with company goals and customer expectations.
Qualifications
Requirements :
Minimum 5 years of working experience in an operations management role, preferably within a precision manufacturing environment with a strong focus on Machining and Special Processes.
Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.
Strong financial acumen with experience in cost analysis and budgeting.
Familiarity with aerospace or semiconductor equipment industries and standards.
In-depth knowledge of CNC machining and / or Special Processes.
Proficient in project management, process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma), and data-driven decision making.
Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to manage multiple projects independently.
