You will also ensure that our solution’s architecture is aligned and meets our high standards both during proposal and project stages. Once a project is approved, you will work closely with the implementation team to ensure that what was promised is delivered as one.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, including cloud platforms, containerization, SaaS, PaaS, etc.
• Design and implement secure APIs and database solutions, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Ensure compliance with Identity and Access Management principles, including LDAP, Single Sign-On (SSO), and OAuth.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our architectural practices and standards.

As a Principal Architect , having at least 5 years of architecture knowledge in coming out with a strong end-to-end solutions is a huge plus. Very good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture will also be an integral part of this role. You would be interested to work on Enterprise Architecture initiatives and will be able to go both wide and deep across multiple architectural topics . You will also help coordinate architecture forums and work across multiple domains within our logistic business. There are many opportunities to work cross-team with our talented people, especially with architects. You are a technology aficionado, with a good understanding of Cloud and Containerization. You are able to work independently, prioritize and organize tasks under time and workload pressure. Working in a multinational environment, you can expect cross-region collaboration with teams around the globe, thus being advanced in spoken and written English will be useful.

Hi, my name is Erick Chen and I’m a Head of Subdomain for Pickup, Delivery and Clearance domain within our IT Services (ITS) Express Solution business unit. I started my career at DHL IT Services back in 2018, when I took a role as Principal Architect in the DHL Express Network Operations domain. Gaining more hands-on experience with logistics business has always fascinated me; I was originally assigned to the Global Trade Services team as Architect. From there, I moved fast through the company ladder and soon landed a Team Manager role and eventually Head of Subdomain. My passion has always been in Architecture and even until today. Together with the strong support of a multinational & diverse team, we are working on our common ambition – technology. Looking forward to having talented team to onboard our great team!
