The ideal candidate will be responsible for working cross-functionally to understand solution needs by multiple parties. To be effective in this position, you must feel comfortable owning the entire solution development process.
Responsibilities
- Gain insights into markets; influence industry policies; develop and implement business strategies and marketing strategies for the domain; support the achievement of business goals for key projects.
- Accurately understand customer needs and pain points, conduct competitive analysis, develop, expand, and promote solutions for customer and partner scenarios, and guide the improvement of product and solution competitiveness.
- Plan and implement brand marketing activities in the region, carry out precision marketing, and improve brand influence in the industry.
- Take charge of the secondary go-to-market of products and solutions, including selecting market segments, developing local strategies, adapting marketing materials, and providing enablement training.
- Manage business models and prices, and manage profitability.
- Develop the capabilities of inverters and BESS solutions in the region.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering or a related field;Familiar with new energy, especially photovoltaic (PV) power generation, electrochemical energy storage, and other key elements of emerging power systemsFamiliar with the hardware and software architecture of dispatching systems or power trading systems; proficient in domestic and international regulations on grid dispatching, grid connection, ancillary services, and power trading; familiar with business models of energy storage and PV power plants; or experienced in domestic and international power generation and grid planning, with knowledge of relevant business processes and planning methodologies; or experienced in electromechanical transient and electromagnetic transient simulation analysis of power systems;Proficient in at least one power system simulation software tool, such as PSCAD, MATLAB, EMTP, PSSe, BPA, or DIgSILENT;Skilled in power electronics simulation technology; candidates with knowledge of Virtual Synchronous Generator (VSG) technology, grid-forming control, and their modeling and simulation are preferred; familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop real-time simulation systems such as RTDS or RT-LAB is a plus.Over 5 years of experience in market rule formulation, real-time power dispatching, or power trading at a national or provincial power dispatch center or power trading center;Or over 4 years of experience in power grid planning and design, with solid knowledge of grid planning; or hands-on experience in power electronics and power system simulation;Strong coaching-style communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and management departments of power grids and utilities;Proficiency in English as a working language (with general listening and speaking skills), able to conduct presentations and communication with local customers;Willing to travel across APAC countries.Seniority level
