Company Background
We are representing our client a food processing manufacturer for the retail and foodservice sectors. They are certified under FSSC22000, ISO22000, HACCP, GMP, MeSTI and Halal. They are currently seeking for a QA / QC Assistant Manager or Manager to strengthen their food safety and quality management systems.
- Work Location : Shah Alam
- 5 Working Days : 8am - 6pm
Main Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the companys Food Safety Management Systems (FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, Halal, MeSTI)Manage and supervise the QA / QC team to ensure compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory requirementsLead third-party and internal audits; ensure all corrective actions are closed within timelinesMonitor quality metrics, investigate quality deviations, and resolve product or process issuesLiaise with customers on quality-related matters and documentationDrive training programs for production and QC staff on food safety and hygieneReport regularly to management on quality KPIs, audit results, and compliance statusRequirements
Min Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Tech, Biotechnology etc.Assistant Manager : Min 5 years of QA / QC experience in food processingManager : Min 8 years of QA / QC experience in food processingStrong working knowledge of FSSC22000, HACCP, GMP, Halal and MeSTILeadership in audits, quality assurance systems, regulatory complianceAbility to speak in Mandarin due to require to liaise with Mandarin speaking suppliers and customers.Able to liaise with external auditors and authorities, adaptble to SME environment.Consultant In-Charged :
