Overview
Title : Network Consulting Engineer – Security (ISE / FPR / SSE / ESA) The role holder provides network consultancy, design, implementation, migration and Day2 operational support to help customers maximize network availability and functionality to achieve their business goals. Activities include in-depth analysis, design (high and low level), deployment, operational support and consultancy. The role holder will be the customer-facing Cisco adviser in a fast-paced, high-impact environment, delivering commitments. Key Responsibilities
Support Data Center network, Campus network, SDA / DNAC, Wireless / WLC, SDWAN, Enterprise Security (FW / FPR, ISE, SSE, SNA, WSA, ESA, DUO, etc.), UCS compute and Hyperflex hyperconverged systems. Interpret client needs, assess requirements, and identify suitable solutions. Execute all phases of project delivery including plan, design, network staging, implementation, migration, testing, handover, etc. Build simulated networks in test labs to validate design and solution, and resolve complex problems and integration / compatibility issues. Perform troubleshooting, analysis and diagnosis of complex DC and Campus network infrastructure, security solutions and compute infrastructure. Provide Day-2 support and troubleshooting for infrastructure-related incidents and problems. Skills / Experience
Experience in design and implementation of Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) solutions – ACI / Nexus / NDI / NDFC. Understanding of Data Center architecture; planning, design & implementation of Data Center infrastructure. Experience with Cisco SDA (Software Defined Access) architecture / solutions including DNAC, Wireless, ISE, Catalyst Center, etc.; knowledge of device profiling, authorization policy in Cisco ISE. Experience with Cisco SDWAN solutions; vManage / vSmart / vBond / vEdge, OMP routing, centralized / local policy configuration via vManage; understanding zero-touch provisioning. Experience in Cisco security solutions - FW / FPR, ISE, SSE, SNA, WSA, ESA, DUO, etc. Experience in design / implementation of Catalyst switches (3560 / 3750 / 4500 / 6500 / 9000) and Nexus 7000 / 5000. Experience in Cisco compute infrastructure (UCS, HyperFlex, Nutanix, InterSight). Day-2 incident support and advanced troubleshooting (L1 / L2 / L3). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; effective consulting. Industry awareness; 3–5 years hands-on experience with Cisco solutions preferred. CCIE in any technology domain (R / S, DC, etc) preferred as an added advantage. Seniorities
