A leading global bank in Malaysia is seeking a highly experienced VP Engineering Lead to spearhead the technical strategy and delivery of its Wealth Lending platforms. This role is critical to the bank’s transformation agenda, focused on building scalable, secure, and customer-centric lending solutions tailored to affluent and high-net-worth clients.

What You'll Do

• Lead engineering squads to deliver robust, compliant solutions for wealth lending products, including personal financing, credit lines, and secured lending.
• Architect and implement end-to-end technical solutions, including system integrations and vendor platform implementations.
• Collaborate with Subdomain Tech Leads, Product Owners, and Release Managers to align delivery with business strategy.
• Drive modernization through microservices architecture, service reusability, and platform scalability.
• Oversee technical governance, ensuring adherence to enterprise architecture, regulatory standards, and SDLC compliance.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for technical challenges, supporting audit, risk, and compliance engagements.
