ABOUT THE JOB
The role leverages the company's leadership in digital technology and connectivity to drive impactful initiatives in a sustainability-conscious market. Working closely with the Sustainable Solutions and Digital Inclusion workgroups under the Sustainability Committee, the role involves :
- Developing strategies, policies, procedures, and targets aligned with TM's ambition to lead in digital and sustainable solutions.
- Monitoring progress through data collection and analysis.
- Facilitating implementation and building partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Providing expert advisory on best practices and regulatory compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive the progress of both the Sustainability Solutions and Digital Inclusion Workgroups to ensure timely and quality deliverables.Proactively identify potential shortfalls or delays and collaboratively formulate mitigation strategies with relevant stakeholders.Identify opportunities to communicate TM's sustainability achievements and milestones to internal and external stakeholders via presentations, blog / media articles, etc.Lead efforts to enhance TM's sustainability performance and disclosures for material matters such as Innovation & Technology, Customer Experience, Network Quality & Stability, Affordability, and Community Development—aligned with standards like Bursa Malaysia Sustainability Reporting Guidelines, GRI, FTSE Russell, S&P Global CSA, CDP, Sustainalytics, etc.Oversee and lead the development of papers on Solutions and / or Inclusion for review and decision-making by the Board, Management Committee, TM Sustainability Committee, and other relevant platforms.Drive a high-performance culture and develop team members through coaching, on-the-job learning, and formal training.Stay abreast of the latest developments in sustainability through reading, conferences, webinars, training, and certifications.CANDIDATE MUST HAVE
Bachelor's or Postgraduate Degree in Sustainability, Finance, Engineering, or other relevant fields
