The Security Team Leader assists the Security Supervisor in guiding the Security Officers on duty to ensure that hotel work procedures and inspection work are carried out correctly. The role covers the daily work of the Security Supervisor in their absence.
What will I be doing?
- Supervise each security operation shift, ensuring adequate patrol patterns and frequencies to secure guests and team members.
- Familiarize with and check hotel fire equipment and fire evacuation passages.
- Ensure Security Guards report maintenance issues to the Engineering department promptly as recorded during patrols.
- Familiarize with each department’s work procedures, security knowledge and emergency procedures; supervise each position’s professional knowledge and work standard.
- Conduct random bag inspections of team members entering and leaving the building.
- Ensure asset removal policy is adhered to, to prevent hotel assets from being removed without proper authorization.
- Arrange escort services for team members carrying cash, when required.
- Maintain perimeter patrols at entry and egress points to prevent loitering on the premises.
- Assess and address team members’ work knowledge, discipline and responsibilities.
- Convey and implement the department’s work arrangements and training plans.
- Conduct random inspections to ensure security practices are followed, exits are accessible, and fire safety equipment is unobstructed.
- Take appropriate action to resolve guests’ complaints, communicating professionally and effectively with guests.
- Be familiar with current first aid and fire emergency procedures.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and tidiness in your work area; present a professional appearance according to Hilton standards.
- Foster professional, positive interaction with team members to promote team spirit and effective two-way communication.
- Adhere to the hotel’s policies and procedures, Hilton code of conduct, and the team member handbook.

What are we looking for?
High School or Secondary Vocational School graduate.Pass for English C-level examinations.Good communication skills.Proficient with hotel security, public security, fire control and management.Familiar with fire and traffic safety laws and regulations.Able to organize and direct staff according to job specifications to complete tasks.What will it be like to work for Hilton?
