Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with Distributors / Stakeholders on compiling forecast and review on accuracy.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to support decision‑making in both supply and demand planning.
- Liaise with Demand Planner & Warehouse Executive on the stock availability and inventory.
- Monitor stock levels to avoid overstock or stockouts.
- Ensure inventory aligns with demand forecasts and business objectives and work closely with the Sales and Finance Team to develop accurate demand forecasts.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely and cost‑effective supply chain operations.
- Act as a point of contact between supply chain and other departments to resolve demand‑related issues.
- Analyse discrepancies between forecasts and actual sales, identifying improvement areas.
- Manage stocks return approval to make sure the return goods are within certain acceptable percentages.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the supply and demand planning functions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness.
- Prepare and present regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), including forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
- Lead initiatives to streamline planning processes, reduce lead times, and improve forecast accuracy.
- Conduct scenario planning & develop risk mitigation strategies to address potential supply chain vulnerabilities, including supplier risks, market fluctuations, and operational disruptions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply and effective collaboration.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time.
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain or related disciplines.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Good communication skills and able to work well with different internal stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
Proficient in Microsoft Application and ERP system.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Experience in the same industry will be an added advantage.
