Sales Engineer (Solar, ELV & Smart Home Solutions)
Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities for Solar, ELV, and Smart Home solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations and proposals tailored to meet customer requirements.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as set by management.
Technical & Solution Support
Provide technical consultation and product knowledge to clients during pre-sales and post-sales stages.
Assess customer requirements, conduct site surveys, and propose customized solutions.
Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and compliance standards in solar, ELV, and smart home systems.
Project & Commercial Support
Prepare quotations, tender submissions, and negotiate contract terms.
Liaise with internal departments (engineering, procurement, project management) to support project handover.
Provide after-sales support, including training, troubleshooting, and customer service follow-up
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of sales experience in Solar, ELV systems, or Smart Home / IoT solutions (experience in multiple areas is an advantage).
Strong technical knowledge of inverters, batteries, networking, CCTV, access control, and automation systems. Technical knowledge in Solar PV is an added advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
Possess own transport and willing to travel.
