We are seeking a highly motivated Specialist Quality & Change Management Engineer to lead Product Change Notification (PCN) processes and serve as the primary quality interface for both internal teams and external customers. This role combines quality engineering, change management, and new product introduction (NPI) responsibilities to ensure customer requirements are met while driving continuous improvement in product quality and manufacturing processes.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities
PCN & Change Management
- Manage the PCN process including queue, review board (PCRB), matrix, approval tracker, and sample tracking.
- Draft and route PCN letters for approval and customer communication.
- Track and coordinate customer approvals, responses, and sample requests.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (R&D, Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, Supply Chain) to ensure smooth change execution.
- Ensure compliance with industry and customer-specific PCN requirements.
Quality Engineering
Act as the primary Quality contact for customer-facing and internal projects.Lead risk assessments, FMEA reviews, and quality requirement reviews with cross-functional teams.Ensure customer requirements are embedded into product design and manufacturing processes.Prepare technical reports for customers (internal and external) relating to product changes, improvements, and resolutions.Drive continuous improvement and corrective action activities to reduce cost, improve delivery, and enhance product quality.Apply statistical techniques (SPC, DOE, etc.) and promote data-driven decision-making in design and manufacturing.Take leadership in problem-solving and issue resolution for both new product development and sustaining products.Support transition from a reactive to a proactive quality culture.Ensure the activities performed are in line with QMS procedures etc.Carry out assignments and assist QA Manager and above in overall quality assurance activities as per required.Position Requirement
Quality expertise : 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Change Management, in the field of semiconductor industry with knowledge of international standards and QA principles.
Skills
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) to engage with internal teams and customers.Demonstrate high level of details in reviewing documents to ensure accuracy.Systematic approach in managing information & documentation.Knowledge of electronics / electrical components, SPC, DOE, FMEA, ISO.Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments preferred.Proficient in Excel and Minitab (or equivalent); Oracle ERP experience a plus.Strong technical writing and project management skills, including preparation of customer-facing reports.Knowledge in automotive standards IATF16949, AEC-Q is added advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
