Senior Supervisor, Maintenance & Projects
Overview
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair switchgear, transformers, and distribution boards up to 11kV. Perform electrical-related maintenance for factory and office facilities, including lighting, power distribution, emergency systems, ELV systems, and air conditioning to ensure optimal functionality. Assist in general facility repair while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Maintain and troubleshoot CCTV, access control, PA systems, and structured cabling. Conduct routine HVAC system maintenance, ensuring energy efficiency and optimal performance.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all electrical work adheres to Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) regulations and industry safety standards. Implement preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Implement scheduled maintenance programs and promptly resolve electrical issues.
- Diagnose and resolve power failures and electrical faults in factory and office environments.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and compliance documentation; provide technical guidance.
- Liaise with authorities (ST, TNB) and the Supervising Engineer for inspections, approvals, and compliance.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors on electrical upgrades and maintenance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety, and operational performance.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in handling 11kV electrical systems in industrial, commercial, or manufacturing facilities.Experience in facility management, switchgear operations, electrical troubleshooting, ELV, ACMV and emergency systems, especially in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and protection mechanisms.Proficient in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.Hands-on experience with HV / LV switchgear maintenance, circuit breakers, and protective relays.Familiar with Permit to Work (PTW) systems and electrical safety protocols.Ability to lead a team, work independently, and respond effectively to electrical emergencies.Additional Details
