Overview

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair switchgear, transformers, and distribution boards up to 11kV. Perform electrical-related maintenance for factory and office facilities, including lighting, power distribution, emergency systems, ELV systems, and air conditioning to ensure optimal functionality. Assist in general facility repair while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Maintain and troubleshoot CCTV, access control, PA systems, and structured cabling. Conduct routine HVAC system maintenance, ensuring energy efficiency and optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all electrical work adheres to Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) regulations and industry safety standards. Implement preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Implement scheduled maintenance programs and promptly resolve electrical issues.
• Diagnose and resolve power failures and electrical faults in factory and office environments.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and compliance documentation; provide technical guidance.
• Liaise with authorities (ST, TNB) and the Supervising Engineer for inspections, approvals, and compliance.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors on electrical upgrades and maintenance.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety, and operational performance.
