Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 3+ years experience in IT or backend development Experience with Java Spring Boot Strong English communication skills Detail-oriented and self-motivated Comfortable working overnight hours Proficiency in Mandarin Experience in retail brokerage or financial services Familiarity with monitoring tools, alerting systems, CI / CD workflows Competitive annual salary ranging from MYR 96,000 to MYR 156,000. Permanent role with potential for career growth and development. Collaborative and supportive work environment.
What You'll Do
You will be the backbone of overnight operations, ensuring seamless handoffs to onshore engineering teams. Your responsibilities include :
- Resolving technical support tickets during overnight hours
- Monitoring and validating batch processing jobs
- Preparing and verifying start-of-day (SOD) files for trading
- Identifying and escalating system irregularities
- Documenting findings for audit and handover
