Overview
Designing Mechanical Systems : This involves creating detailed designs for mechanical systems or components using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software. These systems could range from HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems to machinery components.
Analyzing Requirements : Understanding the requirements and specifications of a project or application is crucial. This involves working closely with clients, stakeholders, and other team members to ensure that the design meets all functional and performance criteria.
Prototyping and Testing : Mechanical Application Engineers often create prototypes of their designs for testing purposes. They may conduct various tests to assess performance, durability, and efficiency, and make necessary adjustments based on test results.
Responsibilities
- Collaboration with other Engineers : They may collaborate with other engineers, such as electrical engineers or materials engineers, to integrate different aspects of a project into the overall design. This collaborative effort ensures that all components work together seamlessly.
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving : During the development and implementation phases, Mechanical Application Engineers may encounter challenges or issues that require troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve effectively.
- Documentation and Reporting : Documenting the design process, test results, and any modifications made is essential for maintaining records and ensuring transparency. They may also prepare reports or presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Staying Updated with Technology and Industry Trends : Keeping up with advancements in mechanical engineering technology and industry trends is important for continuously improving designs and staying competitive in the field.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.Willingness to travel in Malaysia and overseas as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events or trade shows and training in China .Fluent in Mandarin as the training will be conducted in MandarinCandidates who speak another language along with English and Mandarin will be added advantage.On call, when necessary, machine repairing at site including weekend / holiday, compensation leave provided.Proven experience in mechanical design, analysis, and application engineering, preferably in (specific industry or sector).Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other relevant engineering tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical requirements and develop practical solutions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy in design work and documentation.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements related to mechanical engineering (e.g., ASME, ISO).Experience with prototyping and testing methodologies, including data analysis and interpretation.Continuous learning mindset with a willingness to stay updated with advancements in mechanical engineering technology and industry best practices.#J-18808-Ljbffr
