Responsibilities :
i) Account Receivables Management :
Oversee the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and cash application.
Develop and implement strategies to minimize overdue accounts and reduce DSO (Days Sales
Outstanding).
Monitor and analyse customer credit limits and aging reports.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue and receivables in the financial system.
ii) Account Payables Management : -
Supervise the accounts payable process, including invoice progessing & vendor payments
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Manage payment schedules to optimize cash flow.
Review and approve payment runs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
Monitor and analyze accounts payable aging reports and resolve discrepancies.
iii) Financial Reporting and Analysis :
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances and opportunities for process improvements.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts related to receivables and payables.
Preparation of monthly / quarterly consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards
Coordinate the month-end and year-end closing processes
iv) Process Improvement :
Evaluate and enhance existing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Implement best practices to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
v) Team Management :
Lead and mentor a team of finance personnel responsible for receivables and payables.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide training and support professional development.
vi) General Ledger & Tax :
Manage and oversee the filing of regular tax returns, including income tax, e-invoicing, SST and other direct or indirect tax.
Manage and coordinate tax audits, including gather and prepare necessary documentation
Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations
