Job descriptionSupervision of finance department staff Ensure that all financial transactions are processed accurately, in a timely manner, and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles Manage, oversee, process (as appropriate), and act as backup for processing all the following transactions : payroll, accounts payable, revenue and expense, fixed assets, cash, bank reconciliations, and allocations Overseeing monthly working capital position as per yearly KPI – Cash, Inventory, Debtors and Creditors Overseeing debtor management by ensuring debts are monitored and collected as per payment terms, providing bad debt provisions following group policy Oversee monthly inventory reports, analysis, and allocation of adequate obsolete provision as per group policy Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational needs Oversee monthly variance analysis prepared within the agreed submission deadline Provide costing analyses as needed for margin optimisation, pricing decisions, and cost saving Develop and manage annual financial budgets that are in line with the organization’s financial targets Develop cost budgets for yearly standard product costing in costing system Oversee company assets for both current and non-current Monitor and track capital purchases for timely asset capitalization, recording asset acquisitions and disposals, useful life and depreciation charges, and maintaining internal and tax books for fixed assets Perform physical asset verification on yearly basis Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements Liaise with internal and external auditors in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements Coordinate tax compliance and dealings with tax agents including corporate income tax, Sales and service tax, transfer pricing documentation and other tax-related matters Liaise with bankers, lawyers and other external consultants and relevant government authorities Guide, instruct, direct, and lead the team to achieve individual and company goals Coaching, mentoring, developing the team’s skills and managing conflicts Coordinate IT-related matters for Halo (Cost system) & SAP with IT support team (India) Coordinate IT hardware / software with external installers / suppliers Degree in Accountancy or equivalent. Preferred professional qualification Minimum 5 years working experience in similar capacity Over 10 years in accounting field - Financial reporting submission, reporting analysis, statutory audit, tax yearly assessment, daily finance operation activities, banking transactions and other accounting matters Leading accounts payable team by overseeing payment cycles, approval matrix, and correspondence with treasury team for cash flow Banking facilities – LC, Currency Hedging Contract – Working capital forecast / Contract execution, settlement and closing 2 years of auditing – External auditor Leadership Analytical skills Results oriented Critical thinking Problem solving skills Great interpersonal and communication skills Advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs & ERP Seniority level : Mid-Senior level Employment type : Full-time Job function : Finance and Sales Industries : Industrial Machinery Manufacturing

- Submission of monthly financial reporting in Cognos Controller and related reporting within group timeline
- Perform month-end closing procedures, including overhead allocations, account reconciliations, and updating closing schedules
