JOB SCOPE : Delivery & Reporting : Responsible for clearly understanding the project objectives and ensuring that these are the foundations for delivery; leading end-to-end delivery to agreed time, budget, scope and quality; managing, coordinating and reporting on project performance; ensuring governance and alignment to regional standards; handling project documentation and invoices where necessary. Single Point of Contact : Serve as the single point of contact for assigned projects, collaborating with Project Managers, Transformation Business Partners and relevant business partners to take ownership for end-to-end delivery. Benefit Realisation / Change Management & Innovation : Promote understanding of project benefits, change management and innovation; ensure benefits are realized and delivered on time and to budget. Interdependency Resolution : Proactively manage interdependencies with a can-do approach. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, document, implement, test and deploy systems and solutions to meet business needs; analyze requirements to perform feasibility studies, gap analysis, and design (functional / technical) for existing and new systems. Examine existing systems design and processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Research and recommend technologies and solution designs to fulfill business requirements. Work closely with Project Manager, Business Analyst and Technical Delivery teams to ensure quality of deliveries. Lead and guide the development team on system development and implementation lifecycle. Perform and coordinate SIT and UAT activities; manage production deployment and relevant change management processes. Collaborate with other organizational units and external parties in system implementations; ensure knowledge transfer from external providers for post-go-live support. Maintain end-to-end design for existing and new systems; ensure comprehensive documentation of supported systems. Active involvement in production support to ensure systems availability and stability. JOB SPECIFICATION (REQUIREMENTS)

At least 7 years of experience in Java EE enterprise application development. Understanding of the insurance business domain and relevant systems (added advantage). Understanding of mobile applications on iOS and Android (added advantage). Strong knowledge across multiple technologies (Web / App Server, RDBMS, SQL, Integration, etc.). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English). Highly proactive and self-motivated with leadership experience. Independent, analytical with good problem-solving skills. Willing to take significant responsibility and accountability; able to cope with challenging delivery timelines and pressure. Prudential is an equal opportunity employer.
