Position : Business Development Manager, Asia-Pacific (APAC).
Reporting Structure : Reports directly to the Managing Director, APAC.
Location : Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

Dickson has +100 years of experience and expertise in environmental monitoring and in supporting the most highly regulated industries, such as pharma, healthcare, life sciences, 3PL / logistics, etc.
In 2022, Dickson has established its regional subsidiary for APAC in Malaysia, which includes a logistic center, a calibration laboratory and a technical support center.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute the annual sales plan : areas of growth, outbound opportunities, approach towards targeted industries / customers, etc.
- Promote our end-to-end “Sensor-as-a-Service” solutions (environmental monitoring, installation, validation, training, calibration and mapping services)
- Conduct product demo (hardware / software) to prospects and existing customers
- Ensure a smooth coordination with the supporting departments : technical / operations, logistics, metrology, marketing, product management, etc.
- Support key marketing initiatives such as attending conferences, trade shows, events etc.
- Develop partnerships with regional professional associations and networking organizations.
Qualifications and skills
Bachelor / Master Degree in Sales / Marketing or equivalent.Successful sales experience within the pharma industry, life sciences or laboratory equipment is a must.Experience in the cold chain or in any highly regulated environments from the pharma / life sciences industries is a plus.Familiar with value-selling techniques and strong appetite for new business development.Successful stories in developing a portfolio of clients at the regional scale in APAC.Energetic team player, solution-driven and good interpersonal skills. Fun is a must!Requirements
Local Malaysian only.Fluent in English; additional Asian language will be a plus (Mandarin or Bahasa).Compensation in line with the market.
