Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in a relevant field OR 3–5 years of IT operations experience. Experience in IT service management, production control, and change management. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Cisco IOS, Aruba Networks, HPE OpsRamp, and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work varied shifts to support 24 / 7 enterprise coverage. ITIL certification or experience with ITIL processes. Proven success in process improvement initiatives. Overview
Valmont Industries is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate IT Operations Technician to join our Nerve Center team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our global IT ecosystem, supporting both on-site and remote users, and driving continual service improvement.
Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day IT operations, alarm triage, and incident response.
- Monitor system health and performance using observability tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver reliable IT services.
- Participate in major incident management and post-event analysis.
- Maintain and develop SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and technical documentation.
- Support network audits, configuration backups, and recovery processes.
- Track and document system issues using the company’s ticketing system.
