Full Time Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities

• Product Display and Arrangement
• Organize and arrange products on shelves or displays according to company guidelines.
• Maintain attractive product displays (planograms) to increase visibility and sales.
• Stock Management
• Monitor inventory levels, ensuring shelves are always fully stocked.
• Replenish stock and manage backroom inventory to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Conduct stock rotation (FIFO – First In, First Out) to minimize expired or outdated products.
• Promotional Activities
• Set up promotional displays and signage (e.g., discounts, new product launches).
• Ensure promotional materials like banners and posters are updated and correctly placed.
• Store Visits and Reporting
• Visit assigned stores regularly to check product presentation and stock levels.
• Provide feedback or reports on competitor activities, product performance, or customer preferences.
• Price Tagging and Labeling
• Check and update price tags to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure barcode labels and promotional tags are visible and correct.
• Customer Engagement
• Assist customers by providing product information or recommendations (if needed).
• Handle inquiries related to the products on display.
• Collaboration with Store Staff and Suppliers
• Work closely with store managers and sales teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Liaise with suppliers to coordinate deliveries or promotions.
• Market Analysis and Feedback
• Observe and report market trends, competitor displays, and new products.
• Provide insights to management for better product positioning.
• Maintain Store Standards
• Ensure cleanliness and neatness of display areas.
• Follow safety and health standards in handling products.
