Engineer - Miling Plant

Overview

To help you profile for insights, this role focuses on leading Milling plant operations, ensuring product quality, planning maintenance, and driving process improvements within safety and environmental standards. Responsibilities

Guide subordinates in aligning to organizational objectives. Monitor and control production parameters and product quality to be within stipulated ranges. Plan and delegate Milling plant activities (stoppage, maintenance, manpower, expansion, etc.). Ensure the quality of Milling plant products meets expectations before sending for CPD consumption. Manage Milling plant inventory movements. Generate reports relating to product quality, Kaizen projects and improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards of the company. Plans, organizes and leads subordinates in carrying out daily duties. Lead team in monitoring and controlling production parameters and product quality to meet specifications. Apply and monitor local safety, health and environmental regulations. Assist in troubleshooting process deviations. Conduct process improvement initiatives and support process trials. Collect and analyse data for process efficiency (yield, energy consumption, bead wear rate). Assist in preventive maintenance schedules for bead mills and premix machines. Maintain equipment logs and downtime records. Plan and delegate plant activities (product changeover, stoppage, equipment maintenance, cleaning, manpower and expansion). Draft or revise SOPs / WIs / OPLs for production and technical work. Assist in maintaining the quality standards of the plant. Assist in enforcing safety and 5S standards of the plant. Any other task assigned by superiors. Requirements

Education :

Degree in (Chemical / Mechanical preferred) or related field. Work Experience :

Open to fresh graduates; 1 year of relevant industry experience is an advantage. Technical and Professional Knowledge :

GMP and departmental SOP, WI and OPL; problem solving and troubleshooting techniques; OSHA regulations; Microsoft Office (Word / PowerPoint & Excel); product waste management. Application Questions
