What you'll be doing?
Ensure Compliance : You will be responsible for ensuring the Group's compliance with the Companies Acts and relevant regulations across various jurisdictions.
Regulatory Updates : Provide timely updates on new and amended Companies Act and regulations to keep the company informed.
Corporate Governance : Advise Management and the Board on best practices in corporate governance and regulatory changes.
Statutory Records : Maintain accurate statutory records for all companies within the Group.
Draft Resolutions : Draft and review resolutions related to the Group’s businesses and operational matters.
Stakeholder Liaison : Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, to ensure compliance with legal and governance requirements.
Ad-hoc Support : Provide support to the Legal Division and assist with other tasks assigned by the Head of Department.
Who are they looking for?
ICSA Qualification : Possess ICSA qualification or its equivalent, ensuring a strong foundation in company secretarial functions.
Professional Membership : Be a member of MAICSA or hold a SSM Licensed Secretary with a valid Practicing Certificate.
Experience : Have 4-6 years of hands-on experience in company secretarial functions, demonstrating practical expertise.
Language Proficiency : Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia, as the role involves reviewing documents in multiple languages.
Analytical Skills : Be highly analytical with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Interpersonal Skills : Be self-motivated, with a strong sense of urgency and good interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
