Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant

What We’re Looking For

Meltwater is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In this role, you will support recruitment efforts across Malaysia, as well as contribute to hiring for Greater China and broader APAC markets.

We are open to candidates with 3–5 years of experience in recruitment or sourcing, and while this is a P2 role, we are flexible to consider a junior P3 profile for the right candidate.

Fluency in both Mandarin and English is essential, as this role will support Mandarin-speaking roles in China and SEA. You'll be part of a dynamic global Talent & People team, helping to drive strong recruitment outcomes and operational excellence across the region.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across Malaysia, Greater China and Southeast Asia Delivery Services and Sales functions, including attraction / advertising, job descriptions, market mapping, direct sourcing, screening, interviewing, feedback collection, and offer preparation for approval and execution.
• Collaborate closely with regional hiring leaders to comprehend their requirements, provide coaching and guidance on our recruitment process, and address the evolving talent needs of each country.
• Ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience by promptly briefing candidates on their interview stages at every step of the process.
• Engage and cultivate relationships with external stakeholders, including universities in key geographies, to build an external talent pipeline and fulfill critical hiring needs.
• Ensure that every hiring process incorporates a credible slate of diverse talent, fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
• Contribute to global projects focused on enhancing the Employee Value Proposition (EVP), strengthening the employer brand, refining hiring manager training, and improving the candidate experience.
• Be an integral part of a global team, contributing to the culture and mentoring others while collaborating on projects and initiatives spanning different regions.
