Key Responsibilities
Feasibility Studies & Corporate Proposals
- Conduct feasibility assessments and develop corporate proposals aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
Valuation & Financial Analysis
Perform valuations of target companies using appropriate methodologies and prepare detailed financial models and projections, including feasibility studies.Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Financial Structuring
Develop M&A structuring models, financial restructuring plans, and comprehensive financial analyses covering :Pre- and post-transaction business modelsCash flows, Profit & Loss statements, and Balance SheetsEvaluation of financial impact on group results to support valuation and due diligenceCorporate Exercise Planning
Design and propose schemes for corporate exercises, negotiate optimal terms and structures in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, identify potential issues, and provide solutions or recommendations.Documentation & Board Reporting
Prepare thorough reports and materials for EXCO or Board presentations. Draft, review, and finalize all relevant documents, including board papers, presentations, legal documents, shareholder announcements, and circulars, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with regulations.Regulatory Compliance
Ensure all corporate finance activities comply with updated requirements from Bursa Malaysia, the Securities Commission, and other statutory authorities.Stakeholder Coordination & Execution
Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external advisors, including investment bankers, lawyers, company secretaries, auditors, and tax consultants. Oversee corporate exercise activities to ensure completion in accordance with agreed terms and structures.Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification.8–10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years in corporate finance within a publicly listed company (PLC) or a Big Four audit firm.Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilitiesExpertise in structuring corporate finance transactions and preparing investment proposals#J-18808-Ljbffr
