Human Resources Executive at YC Capital Group of Companies
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Executive (Procurement – Import, Export & Shipping) to manage the end‑to‑end procurement and logistics process for our F&B operations. The role is responsible for coordinating local and international purchasing, handling import / export documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of goods in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate is fluent in Mandarin and English , with strong negotiation and supplier‑management skills. You will play a key role in optimizing cost efficiency, maintaining supply consistency, and supporting the company’s growth through effective procurement and shipping operations.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance , or equivalent (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in procurement, import / export, or shipping functions, preferably within the F&B industry .
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) is required to communicate effectively with Mandarin‑speaking suppliers and logistics partners.
- Strong knowledge of import / export documentation, shipping procedures , and related government regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with ERP or inventory‑management systems .
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
- High level of attention to detail , organisation , and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a proactive work approach.
Job Responsibilities
Manage the procurement process for both local and international purchases, ensuring timely issuance and accuracy of Purchase Orders (POs) in line with supplier lead times.Coordinate and monitor import and export shipments , ensuring compliance with all customs, halal, and F&B‑related regulatory requirements.Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PRs) efficiently, tracking the full procurement cycle from request to delivery.Match and verify invoices, Delivery Orders (DOs) , and supporting documents before submission to the Finance Department.Liaise with suppliers, forwarders, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and materials.Execute tender and Request for Quotation (RFQ) procedures to ensure competitive pricing and quality compliance.Monitor supplier performance, track rejection rates, and maintain accurate procurement records and shipment documentation.Coordinate with relevant authorities and logistics providers to ensure smooth clearance, documentation, and transportation of goods.Support cost‑control initiatives by sourcing competitive quotations and negotiating favourable terms with suppliers.Ensure all procurement and shipping activities align with company standards, F&B safety, and quality policies .Seniority Level
