Setel serves customers across Malaysia by powering one app as the constant companion to ease motorists’ journey across fueling, parking, EV charging, motor insurance, road tax, auto assistance, general purchases, and more across an ecosystem of PETRONAS petrol stations, retail partners, and online merchants.

Role Purpose :

The Manager, Governance & Assurance plays a key role in managing governance and assurance activities to ensure company policies, procedures and processes are aligned with strategic objectives, corporate governance requirements to support good governance, proper control and effective operations.

In this role you will :

• Lead revision(s) to the Limits of Authority (LOA) manual and provide advice on the interpretation and application of LOA and line of sight requirements on decision areas to facilitate timely, effective and quality business decision making.
• Drive the adoption process of governing documents for the company to ensure alignment with sound practices and business activities are governed with adequate internal controls.
• Drive for effective annual planning for First Line and Second Line Assurance (SLA) in coordination with PETRONAS Integrated Assurance Unit (IAU) and liaison with Internal Audit for the development of the company’s Annual Assurance and Audit Masterplan (AAAM) to ensure risk-based coverage with no overlapping assurance / audit scope and assurance / audit fatigue for the company.
• Manage assurance activities in coordination with PETRONAS IAU including performing SLA where required, validate findings, and monitor progress on Corrective Action Plans (CAP) status for reporting to Management / Board to ensure governance, risk management and internal controls in the company.
• Engage and syndicate with stakeholders including Auditee, Assesses, Auditors and Assurance Providers on matters pertaining to audit and assurance.
