1. General dormitory operations
- Assist Assistant Dormitory Manager / Manager in overall dormitory operations.
- Assist in full management services and enrolment processes (e.g., Form B, POI activities).
- Liaise with contractors, vendors, and government authorities on dormitory matters.
- Handle complaints and feedback from residents, ensuring timely follow-up.
- Maintain and review the dormitory’s defect book daily; handle and follow up on the maintenance for prompt repairs.
- Facilitate internal and external audits to ensure compliance with JTKSM, RBA, and other regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate records of assets and prepare utilities records for dormitory units.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by superiors.
2. Safety & Security Management
Take charge of security deployment in the dormitory.Conduct regular patrols and inspections of premises and facilities (firefighting equipment, water pipes, washing machines, etc.).Organize fire safety drills; train residents on fire exits, firefighting equipment, and assembly points.Enforce house rules and ensure compliance with regulations (BOMBA, DOSH, JTKSM, RBA).Handle disciplinary matters involving residents and escalate unresolved issues to authorities (e.g., police).Liaise with government agencies regarding safety and security issues.3. Resident Management & Welfare
Conduct orientation briefings for new residents and coordinate with maintenance for unit cleaning / refurbishment.Oversee residents’ welfare, discipline, and overall well-being.Inspect resident units quarterly, advising on hygiene and cleanliness standards.Address and resolve resident disputes and behavioral issues.4. Asset & Inventory Management
Keep accurate records of assets, maintenance reports, and facility inspection records.Maintain and safeguard maintenance tools, equipment, and store in a clean, organized, and safe condition.Monitor and assist in managing maintenance inventories.5. Hygiene, Housekeeping & Facility Maintenance
Ensure dormitory cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards are met at all times.Monitor waste management, pest control, and upkeep of common facilities.Supervise housekeeping team to ensure quality service.Conduct walk-arounds to ensure amenities remain in good working order.#J-18808-Ljbffr
