System Administrator Infrastructure Engineer

To support ongoing growth and digital transformation, the organization is seeking a System Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer responsible for managing and enhancing a hybrid IT infrastructure. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of both on-premises and cloud-based systems, contributing to business continuity and global operations. The ideal candidate brings a solid technical foundation, strong problem-solving skills, and a service-oriented approach to infrastructure support.

Key Responsibilities :

• Administer and maintain physical and virtual infrastructure, including Windows / Linux servers, storage systems, and virtualization platforms (e.g., Proxmox, Hyper-V, oVirt).
• Monitor and support hybrid cloud environments, including OpenShift clusters and infrastructure hosted in Azure and AWS.
• Provide 1st and 2nd line user support, managing service requests and incidents via the IT Helpdesk.
• Manage user access, permissions, and directory services using Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
• Apply system and security updates, perform routine patching, and implement configuration changes in line with compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Conduct system performance monitoring, capacity planning, backup operations, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Contribute to automation efforts using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deployments, infrastructure projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
