Business Development Assistant Manager - Freight Forwarding (China Market)
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Assistant Manager to drive growth and expand our client’s freight forwarding business in Subang Jaya. The role focuses on building strong relationships, developing new business opportunities, and supporting overall sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to achieve long-term growth.
Develop proposals, quotations, and presentations to prospective customers.
Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to deliver solutions.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to business expansion.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma qualification in Business, Logistics, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding / business development.
Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken, reading, and writing) is required to liaise with China-based clients and handle business documentation.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
