Senior Design Engineer (R&D)

Who You Are

Subject matter expert in chip‑level LED packaging and module‑level product design (including optics, PCB, and housing), responsible for leading the development and support of next‑generation products, packages, and technologies.

Position Summary

• Lead Package and Product Design : Drive the design of LED package and module‑level product, acting as the primary liaison with customers and product marketing teams to define specifications and translate ideas into robust, manufacturable designs.
• Support Product Development : Contribute to the design and development of both new and existing products, including performance evaluations and qualification processes.
• Apply Technical Expertise : Leverage deep knowledge of relevant technologies and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) methodologies, staying up to date with the latest advancements in the field.
• Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues : Proactively investigate and resolve design‑related challenges, particularly during development phases or when unexpected issues arise.
• Collaborate Cross‑Functionally : Partner closely with engineers, customers, and cross‑functional teams to ensure the development of robust, high‑quality products.
• Drive Continuous Improvement : Support initiatives focused on enhancing product quality and cost‑efficiency through design optimization and process improvements.

What You Will Bring (Required Qualifications)

Bachelor's in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
