This role is responsible for leading the Financial Center of Excellence (COE) team driving financial excellence, process optimisation and innovation. This role will oversee the development and implementation of best practices, standards, and tools to support finance operations across the organization.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee income tax accounting for the APAC region.
  • Manage new tax developments, including Pillar 2 implementation, tax administration, and filings.
  • Handle withholding  tax filings and ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Handle tax e-compliance projects, if any.
  • Implement best practices, standards, and processes in tax operations.
  • Collaborate with finance leaders, business partners, and tax teams across APAC.
  • Support training, coaching, and knowledge-sharing within the CoE.
  • Track performance, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure data accuracy.
  • You will be a great fit if you

  • 5–7 years in finance / accounting, including 2–3 years in leadership or managerial roles.
  • MNC experience, preferably with a US headquarters, and exposure to income tax accounting across multiple APAC countries.
  • Strong expertise in tax accounting (GAAP-focused); practical experience with Pillar 2 initiatives preferred.
  • Knowledge of APAC tax regulations, filings, and compliance.
  • Experience driving process improvement and operational excellence in tax operations.
  • Leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Finance / ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
