- Define project scope, timelines, resources, and milestones.
- Develop detailed project plans and ensure on-time delivery.
- Stakeholder Management
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage expectations and ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
- Identify potential risks, develop mitigation plans, and address issues proactively.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and assign responsibilities.
- Ensure team performance and motivation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation
- Track progress against KPIs and project timelines.
- Provide regular status updates and maintain all project documentation.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze spend data, supplier performance, and market trends to identify savings opportunities.
- Cost Optimization & Value Tracking
- Support initiatives for cost reduction, efficiency, and value creation across procurement categories.
- Assess supplier KPIs (cost, quality, delivery) and recommend improvements or alternatives.
- Gather intelligence on industry trends, pricing, and innovations to support sourcing decisions.
- Support Strategic Sourcing & Decision Making
- Work closely with procurement managers to develop sourcing strategies and prepare business cases or analysis for supplier selection.
Job Requirement
Graduate in Science / Business Economics.Master’s in Business Administration or Supply Chain preferred.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Project Management with similar complexity, spend size, and geography.Excellent communication skills in English.Proven experience in global or regional sourcing roles, change management, and leading strategic projects.Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in multiple data platforms such as MS Projects, SAP and BI.At AkzoNobel we are highly committed to ensuring an inclusive and respectful workplace where all employees can be their best self.
