Credit Controller

Responsibilities

• Analyses and monitors all assigned aged debtors and actively works to reduce delinquency. Ensures prompt action is taken for non-payment or continued late payment.
• Provides regular reporting on the status of overdue debt including month end statistics.
• Works to minimize bad debts within assigned accounts.
• Identifies disputes causing delay in payment and resolves them effectively and in a timely manner.
• Escalates issues and contacts internal personnel to encourage resolution.
• Escalates issues to line manager that pose potential risk and non-payment in a timely manner.
• Initiates collection calls and sends timely reminders to account holders. Researches and resolves delinquency / billing issues on allocated accounts.
• Prepares and updates Standard Operating Procedure and successfully transitions O2C activities to KL COE, ensuring compliance with Customer’s policy, procedure and country regulation.
• Performs other ad‑hoc duties and special projects as requested.
• Ensures all transactions / activities are conducted in accordance with the relevant Group / Divisional Authority Matrix.
