Senior Engineer Linux System

We are seeking an experienced System Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating our complex Unix / Linux infrastructure, including high availability solutions, automation, and continuous improvement of technical processes.

Job Description

In your new role you will :

• Install, configure and operate our complex Linux / Unix Infrastructure within our worldwide distributed data centers including high availability solutions
• Automate and continuously improve of all technical processes
• Availability and performance monitoring including creation and customization of dashboards and alerts
• Troubleshooting and problem solving as part of 2nd and 3rd level support in cooperation with our internal customer as well as IT security support for the implementation of hardening / protection of the server systems and the running services on them
• Technology consulting for our customers, as well as the creation of architectural concepts and their implementation
• Independent takeover of (sub-)projects from the design phase through development to productive usage
• Creation of technical documentation, training and training material

You are a team player with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively in a global team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. You are adaptable, flexible, and willing to learn and grow. With a strong foundation in IT and a passion for virtualization, you are well-equipped to succeed in this role.
