Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as Senior Director, Priority Banking / Senior Director, Branch Distribution. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Affluent Relationship Managers, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service, and achieving business targets. The team leader will play a pivotal role in driving team performance, developing team members, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Leadership and Team Management
- Responsible to hire, lead, coach, and manage a team of Affluent Relationship Managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Set clear performance expectations, provide regular coaching, and conduct reviews to ensure team members’ performance.
- Provide regular guidance and coaching to enhance skills, knowledge, and productivity of the team.
- Encourage collaboration and teamwork, promoting a positive and motivating work environment.
Business Development and Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with Priority Clientèles.Understand clients’ financial goals and provide tailored wealth management advisory and solutions.Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.Drive acquisition of new Priority Clients and grow assets under management (AUM).Develop and execute strategies to grow the affluent customer base and product penetration.Collaborate with marketing, products, specialist teams, and stakeholders in the bank to execute campaigns and initiatives.Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.Proactively manage risks and maintain high standards of governance and ethical conduct.Keep abreast of market and regulatory changes.Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of Affluent Relationship Managers to achieve specified sales targets and service standards.Provide guidance on day-to-day portfolio management.Guide the team in training and leading sales staff in deepening relationships and maintaining ETB clients for Priority Banking.Supervise and coordinate the sales effort of Priority Banking marketing and promotional activities to meet new business and client acquisition goals.Conduct staff meetings and provide support / updates for sales campaigns and activities, procedural changes, management directives, etc.Ensure the team builds an information database on existing Priority Banking clients to support and deepen client relationships and cross-selling efforts.Foster and deepen client relationships by providing regular market information updates and trend analyses on local and foreign financial products.Ensure team compliance with all applicable money laundering prevention procedures and report any suspicious activity as required.Train and develop new sales staff.Develop action plans to improve team performance and provide coaching and mentoring to facilitate staff retention.Processes
Liaise with stakeholders for exceptional, legal, compliance, and operational cases to ensure sales, operations, and service activities at the branch are well managed.Maintain operation control under operation risk guidelines and sales compliance.Identify and report non-compliance and control weaknesses in selected samples.Maintain robust controls and monitoring actions; ensure no overdue CST (Control Sample Testing).Business
