Overview
EHS Engineer (GHG Certification) responsible for managing site EHS section operations, budget, goals and performance; participate in development and implementation of corporate-wide EHS policies and standards, goals, and communication; develop and implement site EHS programs to meet site and corporate EHS goals; lead compliance with laws and regulations associated with EHS issues, and ISO 14001 & OSHAS 18001; be accountable for projects assigned to the section and provide support to assigned engineers to ensure delivery; ensure EHS participation in problem identification and resolution as appropriate; be involved with relevant groups and individuals in identification and resolution as appropriate; lead and participate in plant-wide cross-initiative to promote EHS awareness and total involvement culture (e.g., EHS committee, compliance initiatives); train, develop and retain staff; other tasks as assigned by supervisor. Develop and implement site EHS programs, practices and procedures to meet EHS goals. Lead site in compliance with laws and regulations associated with EHS issues, and ISO 14001 & OSHAS 18001. Be accountable for all projects assigned to the section and provide support to assigned engineers to ensure delivery. Ensure EHS participation in problem identification and resolution as appropriate. Be involved with relevant groups and individuals in identification and resolution as appropriate. Lead and participate in plant-wide cross-initiative to promote EHS awareness and total involvement culture (e.g., EHS committee, compliance initiatives). Train, develop and retain staff. Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree or higher in engineering of safety or environment, or equivalent. Good oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills. 4–6 years of Environment, Health & Safety experience in a high-paced manufacturing environment. Experience in Sustainability Reporting. Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Certification is a MUST. Professional certification in health, safety or environment. About TF AMD
