Requirements

Key requirements :

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
  • Competence in using Microsoft Office software, in particular Excel.
  • Great written and verbal in English and Mandarin.
  • Candidates MUST fluent in Mandarin preferred as the role requires the candidate to deal with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Purchasing Assistant / Purchasing Coordinator in Retail industry or similar role.
  • Candidate must be willing to work at Kampung Baru,Sungai Buloh.
  • Full-Time position(s) available.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities :

  • Assist in price negotiation with suppliers - Work directly with suppliers to gather and negotiate price lists, compare offers for shipping rates and product prices.
  • Manage Purchase Orders - Completing and maintaining all purchase orders.
  • Oversee shipping schedules – Follow up and through all incoming shipments.
  • Maintain purchase record - Maintain detailed paper or computerized records of purchases, including quantities ordered and received, shipping information, and costs associated with the purchase as well as updating the record.
