The Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling animal feed products to farms. This role ensures achievement of sales targets, customer satisfaction, and market growth by maintaining strong relationships with clients and providing technical and commercial support related to feed and nutrition.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for poultry feedmill products.
- Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Prepare and implement area sales plans and promotional activities to increase market share.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Follow up on sales leads, quotations, and customer feedback promptly.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and large farms.
- Provide technical product information, nutritional advice, and after-sales service.
- Conduct regular visits to customer sites to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
- Handle customer complaints or issues efficiently and professionally.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of feed formulations, animal nutrition, and farm management practices.
- Coordinate with technical and nutrition teams to support customer needs (e.g., feed trials, demonstrations, farm consultations).
- Participate in product training, exhibitions, and seminars to represent the company professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence.
- Prepare weekly / monthly sales reports and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and credit terms.
Job Qualifications
EducationBachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Agribusiness, or related field.ExperienceMinimum 2–3 years of experience in poultry feed, premix, or livestock nutrition sales.Field experience in poultry farms or integrators is highly preferred.SkillsStrong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Solid technical understanding of poultry nutrition and farm management.Customer-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.Application information
