Job descriptionOwn the technology and digital strategy , aligning with Group architecture, security, and business objectives. Build and lead a high‑performing IT and digital organization covering enterprise applications, data, operations, and cybersecurity. Cultivate a strong vendor and partner ecosystem to drive innovation and performance. Champion a digital‑first culture , driving transformation across plantation, supply chain, commercial, and corporate functions. Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership , providing insight on digital value creation and technology risk management. 15+ years of enterprise IT leadership , including at least 5 years in digital transformation roles within process industries (oleochemicals, energy, or specialty chemicals preferred). Demonstrated success delivering ERP modernization (SAP) and data / analytics programs with clear business outcomes. Proven ability to lead hybrid internal and vendor teams , introducing Agile / DevOps methodologies at scale. Strong strategic and financial acumen — capable of linking digital investments to operational and P&L results. Exceptional communication skills; able to influence at all levels, from ExCo to plant operations. Hands‑on, resilient leader with a track record of driving transformation in dynamic, complex environments. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems ; Master’s or MBA preferred. Certifications in SAP, PMP, Agile, TOGAF, or ITIL are advantageous. Based in Kuala Lumpur , with regional travel as required. Fluency in English ; Bahasa Indonesia and Mandarin are an asset. About the Role
We are seeking a visionary technology leader to define and execute the enterprise technology and digital strategy for a fast-growing, fully integrated palm oil business spanning upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.
This is a pivotal leadership role that combines strategic influence with operational delivery . You will modernize core systems, lead digital transformation across the value chain, and enable data-driven decision‑making that strengthens performance, efficiency, and sustainability.
As the digital champion for the business unit, you will oversee transformation initiatives across SAP modernization, advanced analytics, automation, AI , and cybersecurity , ensuring technology directly drives measurable business outcomes.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the IT & Digital transformation roadmap — delivering supply chain optimization, manufacturing excellence, and commercial automation initiatives with tangible EBITDA impact.
- Modernize enterprise platforms and data foundations , including SAP S / 4HANA migration, trading system upgrades, and the creation of a unified data lakehouse and analytics platform.
- Drive digital innovation through predictive maintenance, yield optimization, and sales digitization use cases.
- Strengthen cybersecurity and OT resilience across plants, assets, and regional operations.
- Foster an agile, product‑centric culture — introducing modern delivery models, CI / CD practices, and data‑driven value tracking to accelerate adoption and outcomes.
