(CCKK) Clinical Instructor - School of Nursing

make known the job description of a Clinical Instructor (CI) in facilitating, supervising, and teaching of students in the clinical areas.

• Acts as liaison between the college and the hospital / health care facilities authorities.
• Liaises with the Clinical Posting Unit (CPU) Executive, Programme Coordinator (Nursing) and Head of Programme (Nursing) for all matters pertaining to clinical posting.
• Liaises with the CPU Executive for students’ transportation and hostel arrangement (for areas outside of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah).
• Plans and prepares clinical posting roster according to the semester clinical posting objectives.
• Orientates students to the clinical area on their first day of clinical posting for every semester. Organizes, carries out and records teaching session in the clinical areas :

i) Incidental teaching

ii) Case presentation

iii) Bed-side teaching

v) Health education sessions
