Associate Professor, Medical Education

The Associate Professor in Medical Education will play a senior academic role within the Faculty of Medicine, responsible for leading teaching, research, and administrative functions. This person will contribute to curriculum design and delivery, mentor both students and junior academic staff, perform independent and collaborative research, as well as take part in academic service and outreach activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Learning

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, practicals, and clinical teaching sessions in assigned preclinical or clinical disciplines.
• Develop and update curriculum, teaching materials, assessment tools, and OSCE / clinical examination stations.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in coursework, clinical postings, and research projects.
• Incorporate innovative teaching methods, including simulation, case-based, and technology-enhanced learning.
• Mentor junior academic staff and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching quality.
