Specialist Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) Inspector - Contract (Southern Region)

Job Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring effective implementation of Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) protocols across multiple project sites for Southern Region (Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor) . The focus is on conducting regular inspections, maintaining compliance with HSSE regulations, and ensuring that safety procedures are adhered to in order to create a safe working environment for all personnel. The role requires extensive travel to various sites to assess and ensure safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

Safety

• Perform regular HSSE site inspections, audit, verify work permits, and check workers' presence across project sites.
• Monitor and verify workers’ compliance with HSSE procedures and site-specific rules during site inspections.
• Check equipment and procedures to ensure safe operation and compliance with local safety regulations.
• Ensure the safe handling and storage of hazardous materials on-site.
• Conduct regular site HSSE briefings for workers to reinforce safety protocols.
• Maintain and file all HSSE-related inspection records and documentation for compliance.
• Assist in compiling accident reports and maintaining records for regulatory reporting purposes.
