Ensure all project sites comply with the Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA 1994) and other relevant Malaysian regulations.
Liaise with government authorities such as DOSH (JKKP), DOE and BOMBA to ensure compliance.
2. Safety Inspection & Risk Management
Develop and implement site safety plans and comprehensive inspection schedules.
Conduct daily and periodic site inspections, HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment & Risk Control) assessments and audits.
Identify unsafe conditions or practices, prepare inspection reports, and ensure timely follow-up on corrective actions.
Investigate accidents, near misses and unsafe acts, and propose corrective and preventive actions.
Develop and maintain emergency response plans and occupational health programs.
4. Safety Culture & Training
Organize and promote EHS / WSHE campaigns to enhance safety awareness among employees and subcontractors.
Conduct safety training, toolbox meetings, briefings and awareness programs.
5. Documentation & Audit Support
Maintain accurate safety records, inspection reports and incident reports.
Support internal and external audits to ensure continual compliance and improvement.
