This position is responsible for undertaking effective and prudent claims management, and supporting the administration of claims across the life & health business in the region and any remaining time supporting other local initiatives like training, auditing and building client relationships.
What You Will Do
- Handle the Claims assessment and related tasks in accordance with Treaty Terms & Conditions, RGA Standards, guidelines, Claims Philosophy and Claims authority
- Review, validate and approve the Claims Bordereau within Claims Authority
- Render prompt, efficient and courteous services to clients and ensure timely and quality service standards are met
- Perform the Claims Audits for the clients and complete the findings with insights in the required reports
- Ensure clients fulfil claims assessment and management requirements for automatic business
- Identify and escalate risks, issues, or service gaps in the day-to-day provision of claim service, audit program or claims reporting
- Conduct / support meetings, training, audits, and other activities with clients
- Building and maintaining relationships with the client claims team and other stakeholders to facilitate claims assessment and communication
- Support training, and coaching to junior claims assessors; supporting claim digitalization initiatives
- Performing other duties as assigned by the manager from time to time
Qualifications
Solid technical knowledge and industry experienceRelevant degree with at least 10 years of related experience; FLMI and ALHC are a plusProven ability to assess a wide range of Life and Health claimsStrong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholdersExcellent communication and presentation skillsDetail-oriented self-starter with flexibility to manage varied tasks in a fast-paced environmentCapable of multitasking and delivering resultsStrong analytical and organizational abilities with a focus on meeting deadlinesProficient in Excel and PowerPointCandidate with more professional qualities will be considered as Director, ClaimsWhat you can expect from RGA
