Overview
The Quality Control Assistant is responsible for working closely with the QC Engineer to execute system testing both in the lab and on-site. This role also assists the Project Engineer during system implementation, including software installation and patch / release updates. In addition, the position provides support in addressing and resolving software-related issues reported by clients to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- To work closely with QC Engineer / Project Engineer / Technical Support
- Commissioning, installation, upgrades, repairs, maintenance of workstations and other appliances the Company supplies and delivers to the Client
- Commissioning, installation, upgrades, repairs, maintenance of system software for the Product the Company delivers to the Client
- To conduct tests before the system goes testing with the Users as to ensure the software runs smoothly.
- Perform installation of software upgrade, housekeeping and troubleshooting on-site.
- Monitors and maintains the company computer systems, installs, and configures hardware and software, and solves technical issues as they arise.
- Monitors and maintains the Client’s systems and solves system issues as they arise.
- Perform and complete other duties assigned by Superior, Project Manager or Head Unit
