Manage and advise on estate administration matters, ensuring timely and accurate handling of cases.
Attend to beneficiaries, family members, and franchisees’ queries within stipulated timelines.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies in Malaysia.
Liaise with external service providers including lawyers (probate and conveyancing), tax agents, car agents, and other relevant parties.
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior staff on legal procedures and compliance.
Prepare and present regular updates to Management on the progress of estate administration matters.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives by offering legal insights and risk assessments.
Requirements
A recognized Law Degree and admission to the Malaysian Bar.
Minimum 1 year of practicing experience in conveyancing with a legal firm.
Knowledge in estate planning, wills, trusts, and related legal matters will be an added advantage.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Fluency in Mandarin is preferred, as the role involves engaging with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and related software tools.
A team player who is organized, proactive, and demonstrates high integrity and responsibility.
Independent, resourceful, and able to work with minimal supervision.
